A few years ago we had a BIG year. By BIG I mean in the span of a year Patrick and I finished up graduate school, moved between three different states, got married, embarked on some exciting career changes, bought a couple of new vehicles and oh yea, had a baby. As we thought over all those changes at the close of that year we agreed to have a few "quiet" years before attempting another year like that.... so much for that plan.
In 2007 we again saw career changes, completed an interstate move in a relatively quick time span, changed vehicles once again and heard the most shocking news of our lives... TWINS! Along the way we watched Sophia grow from an adorable, little charmer to a full fledged knockout with more personality and wit than should be allowed in someone who weighs under 25lbs! We said goodbye to friends who had become our "Minnesota" family and left a state that had over time begun to feel like home. In exchange, we arrived back to a place that has made our lives full with the presence of family, longtime friends, and food that is truly incomparable :)
Although we'd like to think that 2008 will be a much more subdued year for the Campos-Nelson family, with the our upcoming additions to the family(plus our prior history and love of change) it's doubtful we'd be able to meet that goal. Either way we are thankful for all our blessings, excited about welcoming two new little members into our family and hearts and are more than ready for whatever 2008 may bring!
Happy 2008! We wish you all the best and are anxious for your new arrival!
